BEHIND TEN8

Ten8 Group is an experiential design firm (Certified WBE) that creates signage, environments, and identity elements that attract, engage, direct, and incite action and interaction between place and person.

Our team is comprised of creative thinkers, industrial designers, illustrators, graphic designers, creative project leaders, and technology and fabrication specialists each with principal/senior level industry specific experience.

THE TEAM

Heather Testa

Heather enjoys building, orchestrating, and energizing team members to provide creative, exciting solutions for clients. She also revels in idea harvesting and sketch prototyping (3D cardboard mockups) to quickly communicate and truth-out design concepts. Heather makes the most of her 1,440 minutes each day.

Sarah Hergan

Always ready to jump in full throttle and assist, whether it be creating bas relief maquettes, or the tedious placement of repetitive directional, identity, and regulatory signs, Sarah is our groups go-to. Sarah is our young designer in training frequently bestowed with the wisdom from her elders, but sharing a youthful GenZ perspective. Her university training in classical drawing and business management offer a strong combination of creative and linear observation simultaneously.

Dawn Jungermann

Dawn brings her joy of travel to her experiential graphic design work. She has the intuition to navigate the most unique environments in the least amount of time. Dawn’s thought process follows the scientific method of question, research, hypothesis, testing, analyzing, and reporting.

In addition, Dawn managed and produced “Nutcracker on Ice”, providing skaters years of opportunity and the confidence to perform this classic, timeless story. www.nutcrackeronice.org. Dawn creates for the enjoyment of all.

Elizabeth Johnson

Elizabeth incorporates mobile devices to collect on-site information, conducts field-studies, and manages punch-list & project close-out. Her travels, time in the military, and teaching math to high school students, as well as providing a home and loving guidance to many young people to whom do not have other familial relationships. Elizabeth enjoys programming, setting initial locations and database reports, including photo summaries, cost estimates, bid forms, comparison of bidders, and process planning. Her responsibility also includes technical specification writing, and code compliance.

Elizabeth is ‘all about’ inclusion and diversity and universal/accessible design. During her ‘off-time’, she tutors high school mathematics for English Language learners, and neighborhood and gifted/accelerated students; and provides our group with a unique perspective for design solutions
